Website Elements

Content

Your website is there to attract new business, and make it more convenient for existing customers to do business with you. This means for example that if you are selling goods, inventory should be made viewable so that people visiting your site can see what is available for purchase. For such applications we will automate your inventory, so that you can change prices and descriptions of items without any professional intervention.

This approach is far less expensive in the long run. What's more it provides a business with greater empowerment. If your website is one more outlet for your customers and sales force, having the ability to affect inventory changes on your own is an important part of maintaining control over your own affairs.

Images

They say a picture is worth a thousand words, and custom graphics for your site can be an important of the overall appeal and demeanor.

Just as a storefront will generally have signage and displays of merchandise, a website will typically have a logo and images of items for sale, in addition to graphical 'signs' or navigation buttons showing visitors where else on the site they can go to shop around.

Layout

Just as on the printed page, a website's information will be more accessible to the viewer, and so more effective for the site owner when presented in a clear and organized fashion.

Presentation

Emphasizing key points while placing secondary items in the background are accomplished through the presentation scheme. Having lots of nooks and crannies of interest is a great approach only when each area is easily accessible and may be found by an interested visitor or customer.

Q: What do you call a store without customers?

A: Empty.

Putting together a website is barely half the battle. According to the claim on Google's search form, the Internet contains more than two billion web pages.

Of course, everyone you know will want to flock to your site once it's up and running.

But what about the people that don't already know about your business? Getting visitors to your website is a job unto itself.
